About us | Marli
The first exclusive watch store
Marli watches and jewelry is the first exclusive watch store in Croatia, opened in 1969 at the well-known Zagreb watchmaking location at Vlaška 13. Then still under the name of the Marinović watchmaking workshop, the renowned watchmaker Željko Marinović took over the workshop from his father Božo, who started the famous watchmaking tradition of today’s Marli company back in 1953.
Marinović becomes Marli
Almost forty years later, the Marinović workshop changed its name to Marli and continued watchmaking activities, but also expanded to represent the most significant Swiss brands as well as to produce its own Marli watches.
Watch wholesale
A year later, in 1992, Marli launched a wholesale network, which reached over 20 sales points in Croatia. After celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2009 at the most famous watchmaking address in Zagreb, Marli completely renovated its store at Vlaška 13 in 2012, expanding and modernizing it according to the highest global watchmaking standards, and consolidated its entire offer there. Along with the store renovation, the company also changed its visual identity that same year.
Sales locations
The first sales point for luxury Swiss watches was opened by Marli in 2002 on Praška Street, while in 2008, after several decades of experience, it launched a modern service center for watch repairs on Gruška Street in Zagreb. Shortly thereafter, the Marli service center became the leading one in the region and as such set the highest standards in providing after-sales service on the market.
